You’ve seen the scores of our video game theme contest winners, now watch the performance and hear the recording of these incredible pieces played by a 35 piece string ensemble! On March 22, contest judge Shota Nakama assembled some of the best musicians in Boston at the WGBH studio to bring these scores to life. The orchestra played several takes of each piece, making subtle adjustments to achieve a polished outcome. Shota was joined by the Noteflight team and contest runner up, Soren Nyhus, who helped with the final arrangement of his own piece for live performance.
